Westport Dental Centre is one of the longest established dental practices in Ireland, founded in 1938 by dr. James Vincent McGovern and taken over by his son, dr. Joseph Patrick McGovern in 1972. In 2013, after a long and careful consideration, dr. McGovern decided to share running his successful practice with dr. Przemek Popielarek and dr. Agnieszka Kwiatkowska, a married couple of dentists relocating to Westport from Drogheda. Over the years our practice has built up a very large base of loyal clientele and our welcoming environment not only appeals to patients from the most remote parts of county Mayo and Galway but many of the staff have been with us for a considerable length of time too!
